Our Second and Third Month!

Here are some random pics of Jake over the last 2 months. It's amazing to see how much he changes over such a short time period! One of my favorite changes is his cheeks! I love how big they get as he grows and fills out!!!Here are a few pics that Jason took after he gave Jake a bath...too sweet!!Gansta! I think that he would look a lot tougher if he was awake! Jake is 2 months old in these pics! He started becoming so alert right around this time! Jake loves trying to hold his head up. Here was his first attempt at his bumbo chair. Here are a few photos from Mother's Day! We had such a good time! Later in the day we all took naps. When I woke up, I couldn't resist a picture! Jake loves playing with his daddy! His favorite is when Jason blows raspberries under his chin or on his belly! Jake hanging out with Uncle Josh and Aunt Bethany! Here are a few pics from Memorial Day. Our First Month!

Here are some pics from Jake's first month of life! Hopefully I will be much more organized once I get the blog caught up!! Jake's first bath! I was terrified because with him being in the NICU and the last day in the hospital was so crazy, I never got to see anyone give him a bath! It's a good thing Jason and I took all of the baby care classes before he was born! This is him sporting one of his dino outfits after his bath! His pacifier looks huge on his little face! One of our first attempts at tummy time. You can see how into he is :) Reagan pretty much ignored Jake for the first few weeks. I was excited that she came to cuddle on the couch with us. It wasn't until I was looking at this picture that I realized she wanted my snickers candy bar that I had sat on the arm of the couch earlier! Here is Jacob with his Grandpa and Grandma Taylor! He also loved driving the golf cart with Uncle Jason!! Jake and I ventured to the outlet mall for our first shopping trip by ourselves. He was 3 weeks old and I was terrified!! It actually went really smoothly! Daddy's lil' milk-a-holic! Hanging out with mom! Here are a few random shots!

Jacob got to spend the 3rd day in the hospital with us in our room instead of in the NICU. That evening, he got to come home with us! Here our nurse, Heather, was helping me get Jake strapped into his car seat for the ride home. The straps were bigger than he was! Our crazy birth adventure continues on our ride home. A huge thunderstorm rolled in that evening and hailed on us!! It was scary enough driving with Jake for the first time without the hail pounding the car! Once we got home with Jake, we quickly realized that although the nursery looked cute, the setup was all wrong, and we had to rearrange the nursery and finish getting it set up. Jake meeting Reagan for the first time! Instant BFF's! Napping in the pack 'n play! Jake loves his swing!
